Aurangabad progressing!!!!!!!!

Please respond to this information.

There is no arrangement of disposal of industrial waste and drainage water in the existing MIDC area at Auranganabad; and the drainage water including hazardous chemicals are peculated in the industrial area itself. The industrial waste is disposed in the vicinity of Aurangabad city in available Khadans, i.e. natural pits. Part of the drainage water is disposed in Kham Nala. The authorities, in the most insensitive manner have mentioned river Kham as Nala. It appears that, the authorities are bent upon to convert the Aurangabad city in a nala/drainage.

Information dated 15th July 2010, provided by the Deputy Engineer, MIDC, Aurangabad.

Presently, the existing industrial area, with only 10% industries functioning presently, suffers 20% cuts in water supply and the only water source available is Jaikwadi dam. It is specifically admitted that, there is no other water source available for supply of water to the existing industrial area, if the industries start their functioning on already developed Industrial Area.

Information dated 23rd July 2010, provided by the Deputy Engineer, MIDC, Aurangabad.
